Sailing and Friends
was established in 2022 by a group of enthusiasts united by their love for the sea and sailing. Our community includes both experienced sailors and individuals who are just discovering the magic of the waves. We believe that the open water is for everyone, regardless of age or experience level.
Our mission is to create an environment where anyone who loves sailing or wishes to learn has access to the salty water.
We organize regattas, training sessions, and social events that promote sportsmanship, maritime culture, and the development of sustainable sailing traditions.

History and Achievements
Founded with the idea of connecting people with the sea, Yacht Club βSailing and Friendsβ quickly established itself as a significant sailing center in Bulgaria. Our members not only participate but also achieve top positions in all key competitions of the countryβs sailing calendar.
Main Events
Among the most significant initiatives of Yacht Club βSailing and Friendsβ is the annual βSailing and Friendsβ regatta, which has become one of the largest keelboat sailing events in the region.
This regatta attracts dozens of crews and enjoys immense interest from both professionals and sailing enthusiasts. In 2024, over 50 keel yachts participated in the competition, which started from Marina Sarafovo and featured dynamic races and impressive tactical battles.
The event was held in ORC A, ORC B, ORC C, and free classes, with 18-knot winds adding to the excitement. This event is not only a sporting competition but also a celebration of maritime culture and friendship.
In addition to the regatta, we organize youth training sessions, open practices, and social events aimed at promoting sailing and providing more people with the opportunity to become part of this incredible world.
Whether youβre an experienced sailor or taking your first steps in the sport, our initiatives are open to all who love the sea and the wind.
